Taking a holistic approach means taking a whole body and mind approach to your skin. It looks at much more than just your skincare products. Holistic skincare looks at your diet, amount and quality of sleep, digestion, exercise, stress levels, types of stress, emotions, hormones, your menstrual cycle and how these all contribute to and affect your skin’s health. It looks at a skin condition as something that requires deeper questioning, what I usually refer to as ‘detective work’. This approach looks at you as a whole person in which everything is connected.
